“It’s ALIVE!”

Victor Frankenstein is the latest take on the familiar horror story that takes us into the mind of a man hellbent on changing the rules of life and death.

James McAvoy stars as the eponymous scientist determined to push the limits of science, while Daniel Radcliffe plays his loyal friend and assistant, Igor. The film will revolve around their partnership as Victor embarks on a quest to create life.

The electrifying new trailers showcase scenes from Victorian London interspersed with some gruesome images of Frankenstein’s various experiments.

“Igor, help me change the world!” Frankenstein asks his friend excitedly. We already know that he succeeds in this ambition, but that the monstrous consequences prove to be more than anyone can handle.

“Be careful, Mr. Frankenstein,” warns Detective Inspector Turpin, “you toy with wrathful forces.”

“I cannot argue with that,” Frankenstein agrees.

This new, compelling take on the familiar story will no doubt take audiences on a dark and thought-provoking journey.

The film boasts a talented cast of British actors including Andrew Scott, Louise Brealey, Mark Gatiss (is this the Sherlock Victorian horror AU you’ve always dreamed of?), Jessica Brown Findlay, Freddie Fox, and Daniel Mays.

Victor Frankenstein will come alive in theaters on November 25.
