Daniel Radcliffe plays lead in Imperium

Daniel RadcliffeDaniel Radcliffe’s got a lot on his plate at the moment with big screen projects like Victor Frankenstein (with James McAvoy), Swiss Army Man (with Paul Dano), and Game Changer, an upcoming BBC2 telefilm about the creation of the Grand Theft Auto series of video games.

His latest project involves tackling crime and terrorism in the upcoming FBI drama Imperium, Deadline reports.

This will be Radcliffe’s first law enforcement role, as he plays a young FBI agent who goes undercover to find and stop white supremacists from making a bomb. Imperium is based on the experiences of Michael German, an FBI undercover agent who spent much time infiltrating United States neo-Nazi and militia groups. German penned the script with director Daniel Ragussis. This will be the feature directorial debut of Ragussis, who is more known for short films.

Imperium is scheduled to start filming this fall.
