Robert Knepper cast as Blaine’s father in ‘iZombie’

Robert Knepper is not new to the CW channel. He’s played roles on hit CW shows like Arrow, The Flash, and the short-lived Cult.

Well, it was just announced that we’ll soon see Knepper on another CW show: iZombie. He will portray Angus, Blaine’s well-off and successful businessman of a father. Can anyone else see the resemblance between him and David Anders, or is it just me? Great casting right there.

Through the years of their relationship, Blaine has constantly asked for check after check from his pop, only to end up with another unsuccessful business on his hands. Now that Blaine’s human, it appears he will once again knock on his Dad’s door for help. If only Blaine could say that he ran a successful brain company/restaurant…until Major destroyed the place and every employee there. Uh, on second thought, never mind.

Robert’s character will appear early on within the second season. Do you think he’ll be a good guy or more of a villain? After all, Blaine had to have gotten his evil traits from someone.

The second season of iZombie airs Tuesday October 6th at 9/8c.

Lastly, can all of the Roberts on this show (Robert Buckley, Rob Thomas, and now, Robert Knepper) take a photo together? Or at least start a boy band called The Roberts or something?
