Jenna Dewan-Tatum joins the Supergirl cast as a Lane sister!
E!News is reporting that Jenna Dewan-Tatum is coming aboard the much-anticipated Supergirl series on CBS – playing the younger sister of a character from the Superman universe. She’ll play Lucy Lane, Lois’ kid sister!
Dewan-Tatum’s character will come to town to “right a wrong” and in possession of a history with Supergirl‘s new friend Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks). No word if there’s a triangle on the horizon – as Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is already making friends with Jimmy – or if everyone’s going to be fighting crime and sharing some superfriendships during down time.
Supergirl has been making news for every move it makes since the announcement came down. The cast includes Dean Cain, Calista Flockhart, Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, and Helen Slater just to start!
The Supergirl series premiere airs Monday, October 26 at 8:30 PM, just behind a new episode of The Big Bang Theory.
