The George Miller-directed fourth installment to the Mad Max film franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road, was a critical success among audiences, scoring a 98% “certified fresh” rating on RottenTomatoes.com. It did well enough to justify Warner Bros. Pictures placing a sequel into development. The film, which stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Charlize Theron (Prometheus), and Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) in the titular role, now has an official Blu-ray release date of September 1, 2015.
Fury Road will be released as a Blu-ray 3D combo pack retailing for $44.95, Blu-ray combo pack for $35.99, and 2-disc DVD set for $28.98. Additionally, for fans who wish to own the original trilogy as well, a Mad Max 4-film Blu-ray anthology will be released and will retail for $89.98.
