The Flash: New Suit Revealed for Season Two

In season one of The CW’s hit series The Flash, an alternate costume for the Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen, was teased in a few separate episodes. Viewers caught their first glimpse of Barry’s updated costume in the series’ pilot episode, when it was revealed on a newspaper from the future. It was later seen again in the season one finale when Barry saw his future self from an alternate timeline. The main difference in the suit is the white circle the lies behind The Flash’s lightning bolt symbol.

While the new suit was seen by many on display at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International, we now have an official first look at actor Grant Gustin sporting the new costume, thanks to Warner Bros. Television. Check it out.

While the new suit doesn’t differ much from his season one look, the symbol on his chest is more in line with his comic book counterpart. What do you think? Do you like his new look? Would you have liked to see more changes made? Feel free to let us know in the comments.

Season two of The Flash premieres Tuesday, October 6 at 8/7c on The CW.
