Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as the title character in Snowden.
Academy Award-Winning Director Oliver Stone’s upcoming thriller, Snowden, has just released its teaser trailer and it looks like we’re in line for another fantastic film.
Written and directed by Oliver Stone, Snowden features an all-star cast including Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the title character, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans and Nicolas Cage. The script is based on the books The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man by Luke Harding and Time of the Octopus by Anatoly Kucherena.
This sort of story is Oliver Stone’s wheelhouse – a piece of controversial history; and given Snowden‘s talented cast, he may be looking at some statues during award season.
