Marvel has been on an announcing spree lately, revealing several new series and relaunches heading to store shelves this Fall. These include new Doctor Strange, Spider-Gwen, A-Force, and Avengers ongoings, just to name a few.

Now Spider-Woman joins that list of ongoing titles soon to be relaunched and renumbered. While the Spider-Woman current creative team of writer Dennis Hopeless and artist Javier Rodriguez will stay on board, one major change will occur in the character’s life going forward.

Marvel unveiled the official cover for the upcoming release of Spider-Woman #1 and it appears Jessica Drew will become a mother following the events of Marvel’s current Secret Wars event. The cover for the issue, which takes place 8 months after Secret Wars, shows a pregnant Spider-Woman along with the tagline “Parent by day. Hero by night.”

So, what do you think of this new change to Marvel’s Spider-Woman? Will you be picking up the relaunched series this October? Feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments.
