Although Marvel’s current Spider-Gwen ongoing is only a few issues in, the series will kick off an all-new chapter this Fall with an all-new #1 issue. Writer Jason Latour (Wolverine and the X-Men) and artist Robbi Rodriguez (FBP) will return to their hit series along with colorist Rico Renzi (Unbeatable Squirrel Girl).

The series, which spawned out of Marvel’s recent Spider-Verse event and takes place in an alternate universe than Marvel’s main one, follows the adventures of Gwen Stacy as she has become this world’s Spider-Woman and in turn Peter Parker has died. The new series promises to be a perfect jumping on point for new readers and goes more into Gwen and Peter’s history. The alternate versions of Frank Castle and Matt Murdock will also return to the series and additionally the alternate versions of Norman and Harry Osborn will be introduced.

Writer Jason Latour, who seems grateful for Spider-Gwen‘s success, had this to say about the upcoming relaunch.

This book has defied all expectations, mine included, and has continued to thrive and grow. I can’t tell you how precious of an experience that makes it. Re-launching and being put out there on the front lines as a tent pole kind of title really is a tremendous opportunity to open our doors to everyone again.

Spider-Gwen #1 will land on store shelves and digital platforms this Fall 2015. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
