Heroes Reborn, the rebooted NBC event series, has been packing on the cast members over the past few months. Heroes Reborn comes from executive producers Tim Kring, James Middleton and Peter Elkoff, chronicling the lives of ordinary people who discover that they possess extraordinary abilities. This incarnation of the hit (then not so hit) series will run for 13 episodes with a brand-new story and set of characters.
Heroes Reborn is set to debut this fall.
Cristine Rose was the most recent casting announcement; the former Heroes actress spent her first go around as Mama Petrelli being the villainous mother of Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia). Her abilities gave her the power to see into the future and the past through dreams, while also entering and manipulating the dreams of other’s.
No word yet if Pasdar and Ventimiglia will join Heroes Reborn but it seems unlikely as Pasdar has a small role on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Ventimiglia has a new show, Whispers, premiering in the Fall.
Other fan favorites will be rejoining Rose in the reboot. Jack Coleman will play H.R.G. again, with Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, as well as Greg Grunberg, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Noah Gray-Cabey are returning. New cast members joining Heroes Reborn are Zachary Levi, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green.
