STARZ Brings Outlander and Ash vs. Evil Dead to SDCC!

STARZ might have one of the most popular line-ups at San Diego Comic Con this year, as they present a red-hot new series and the return of a classic to lucky fans! Supernova Outlander has a panel that includes stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore, and series author Diana Gabaldon, ready to answer questions about the sizzling, time traveling love story between Claire and Jamie and what’s coming in the much-anticipated next season.

But that’s not all! STARZ is also presenting a panel of fan favorites – and genre legends – Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Sam Raimi, and Rob Tapert, all of the upcoming Ash vs Evil Dead.

Ash vs Evil Dead, which is currently in production in New Zealand, is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film franchise The Evil Dead, and is set to premiere on STARZ in Fall 2015. The 10-episode first season of the half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers of the franchise.

Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario, and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity, and the terrors of the Evil Dead.  When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal.  Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.
