Yet another DC adaptation heads to The CW. iZombie, based on the comic book series by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred and published under DC’s Vertigo imprint, is set to premiere March 17, 2015. The series will star Rose McIver (Masters of Sex), Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill), and Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings) among others, and will be be executive produced by Veronica Mars showrunner Rob Thomas.
The series will tell the story of Olivia “Liv” Moore (McIver), a medical resident who becomes a zombie and in turn receives the ability see the memories of the deceased after eating their brains.
