NBC’s Parks and Recreation will be entering it’s final season on January 13. The past months have been filled with casting news, speculation, and tweets from the emotional last day of filming, but now fans are getting their first glimpse at what Pawnee will look like in the very distant future – 2017.
The new promo is the perfect mix of endearing and funny, which is exactly what fans have come to expect from the NBC comedy. It highlights all the changes that have come to Pawnee in the last three years, such as new technology, new jobs, and, yes, another new name for Jerry/Gary/Larry.
