Peyton List & Nicholas Gonzalez Cast in ‘The Flash’

The second half of The Flash‘s premiere season is set to introduce two new characters from the DC mythos. Peyton List, who has appeared in AMC’s Mad Men and The CW’s short-lived series The Tomorrow People, will play Lisa Snart, sister of Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller). She will make her first appearance in the 16th episode of season one entitled “Rogue Time”, and she will have her sights set on The Flash’s S.T.A.R. Labs sidekick, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). According to Access Hollywood, she is described as “sly, charming, and even a little sadistic” and is “not afraid to use her sexuality to get what she wants.”

Fans of the comics will know Lisa Snart by her super-villain persona, Golden Glider. In the comics, while she has most recently displayed meta-human qualities, she has traditionally been known to wear skates that create ice, allowing her to skate on any surface. Whether any aspects of Lisa Snart’s comic book characteristics will make their way onto The Flash is unconfirmed.

Nicholas Gonzalez / Dante Ramon

Another new character to make their first appearance in the 16th episode of The Flash will be Dante Ramon. Dante is the brother of Carlos Valdes’ Cisco Ramon. The character will be portrayed by Sleepy Hollow alum Nicholas Gonzalez. Other credits of Gonzalez’s include Jane The Virgin, Melrose Place (2009), Off The Map, and The O.C.

According to TVLine, who originally broke the story, Dante Ramon is described as a gifted pianist and family favorite who is bitter towards his brother’s success as a S.T.A.R. Labs scientist. In the upcoming episode “Rogue Time”, Dante will have to rely heavily on his brother to survive some “extreme circumstances”.

As of now no official premiere date for “Rogue Time” has been announced. The Flash returns with new episodes Tuesday, January 20 at 8/7c on The CW.
