S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 variant cover

Can’t get enough Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Well, you’re in luck because Marvel is bringing their television characters into their comic book universe in a new series simply titled S.H.I.E.L.D. Originally announced at Comic-Con International 2014, S.H.I.E.L.D. will be written by Mark Waid (Daredevil) and drawn by Carlos Pacheco (Captain America).

The series will focus on Agent Phil Coulson, who has already been introduced in the comic book universe, as he leads a team which includes the comic book versions of Agents Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, and more. Now, while this title includes characters originally introduced in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., this title will not serve as a companion to the TV series, but as its own entity.

Additionally, Marvel Comics is also releasing a brand new collection to prepare fans for the winter series premiere of Agent Carter. The collection, entitled Captain America: Peggy Carter, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., will include several Agent Carter-centric Marvel stories originally published between 1959 and 2011.

S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 and Captain America: Peggy Carter, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. are set hit store shelves December 2014. Check out Marvel’s full solicitation information for each of these items below.
