Can’t get enough of the hit CW show, Reign? Well, you’re in luck! CBS Consumer Products is scheduled to release a full-length companion novel to the television show. 
The novel which will be titled: Reign: The Prophecy, will give the readers insight on the events after the first season finale. The executive VP and general manager of CBS Consumer Products, Liz Kalodner, had this to say about the upcoming novel: “Reign proved to be an addictive hit last season. We know the show’s fans will be excited to follow the lives of their favorite characters in this novel as they anxiously await the show’s return this fall.”
Reign: The Prophecy will hit stores (in paperback form) and wherever ebooks are sold on September 23rd.
Lily Blake pens this novel just as she did with the previous Reign-related book, Reign: Darkness Rises, which was released earlier this year. Unlike with, The Prophecy, Darkness Rises was released strictly in ebook format back in May 20th, 2014.
It is unknown if more novels related to this 16th century drama will be released in the future. However, one can only hope. (And hope that they are original works of fiction. Not just simple novelizations of various episodes.)
