New Character Posters Released for ‘Gotham’

FOX has released a series of 8 new posters featuring key characters from their upcoming Gotham series developed by Bruno Heller (The Mentalist). The posters highlight Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie), Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Edward Nygma/The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Detective Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), and Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy (Clare Foley).

These are definitely some strong character posters, but I have to admit I’m not liking the name change on Poison Ivy. If you’re unfamiliar with the comic book character her real name is Pamela Isley. For some reason the producers of Gotham thought it would be better to name her Ivy Pepper instead. Did they think we wouldn’t understand that that’s a young Poison Ivy? Gotham is scheduled to premiere Fall 2014 on FOX.
