Constantine Key Art

Following the announcement that Constantine will be going straight to series, NBC has unveiled the first official three minute trailer for their upcoming DC Comics adaptation. In the trailer we are given a look at Matt Ryan’s sufficient portrayal of the titular character as well as Lucy Griffiths (True Blood) as Liv, Harold Perrineau (Lost) as the angel Manny, and a brief moment with Charles Halford (True Detective) as Constantine’s friend Chas. Check it out.

If that wasn’t enough for you, NBC has also released a full clip from the series premiere. The clip shows the first meeting of John Constantine and Liv as she begins to discover the supernatural world around her.

Constantine, written by Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist) and executive produced by Cerone and David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy), will premiere this Fall on NBC. It will air on Fridays at 10:00 PM ET/PT after Grimm, which will basically make Friday night NBC’s supernatural night. Check out some photos from the pilot and the official key art for Constantine below and feel free to let us know what you thought of the trailer in the comments.
