Yes, you read the title right. Remember when we told you about Fox and Sony doing cross-promotion by showing a clip from the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past in the middle of the credits for The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Well, the clip that was shown attached to the film in certain markets (and confused plenty of people in those theaters) has made its way online. You can watch it below:
This cross-promotion, however, does not mean that there will be any crossover between the characters owned by the two studios, which is unfortunate but not surprising. Think of it more as a teaser that lost its way from the opening trailers.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is in theaters now in both the US and UK, while X-Men: Days of Future Past will open May 22 in the UK and May 23 in the US. What do you think of the clip? Let us know in the comments!
