We all know that post apocalyptic TV, film, and literature is in right now. Everyone is writing it, and everyone is trying to find the next big thing.
What I love about Revolution in this trend is that it doesn’t feel otherworldly. This doesn’t feel like an alternate universe (AU). It feels like this could be our world. I mean, there are reports that say if a few select power plants in the US were incapacitated, it would take 18 months to turn the power back on in the US. If that doesn’t terrify you, I don’t know what will.
