Golden Globe award winner and New York Times bestselling novelist, Chris Colfer, is joining both of his worlds and will be writing an episode of Glee. Glee, where Colfer has played Kurt Hummel since season 1, is currently in its fifth season. It has also been announced that his episode is slated to be episode 19 – to air May 6, 2014 – and may very well be the penultimate episode of the season.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Colfer expresses that he needs to catch up on other storylines that he may not be as familiar with and that “I just don’t want my castmembers to be reading it and go, ‘Oh crap!'”
