So Much Captain America News

It’s less than a month until Captain America: The Winter Soldier arrives in theaters, and Marvel is just spoiling us with clips. Two new short scenes from the film have been released online.

The first clip shows a meeting between Nick Fury and Alexander Pierce, where they discuss a mysterious project and Pierce proposes an interesting form of compensation:

The second clip shows Steve Rogers chasing down the Winter Soldier:

In addition to these two clips, it was recently revealed that Joss Whedon directed a post-credits scene for the film. The last time he directed one, he did the Thor post-credit sequence that led up to both the first Captain America and The Avengers. So odds are high that this scene will probably lead in to Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the directors for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Joe and Anthony Russo, will return to direct Captain America 3. They say they’re in the planning stages right now, breaking down the story with the scriptwriters and waiting to see the response to Winter Soldier before doing much else.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will open in theaters on March 28 in the UK and on April 4 in the US. What do you think about the clips? Looking forward to seeing the post-credits scene? Let us know in the comments!
