Grant Gustin as The Flash
The CW has unveiled Barry Allen/The Flash’s full costume for their upcoming potential Flash TV series. Lead actor Grant Gustin can be seen to the right wearing a costume that stays in line with the darker costumes of The CW’s Arrow but also stays true to the character’s comic book appearance. The costume was designed by three-time Academy Award winner Colleen Atwood who also does costume design for Arrow.
In regards to the costume, The Flash executive producer and pilot director David Nutter stated “I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash’s iconic suit.”
The pilot for The Flash is currently being filmed in Vancouver, Canada and if the series is picked up audiences can expect to see The Flash on The CW later this year. Grant Gustin will be joined by Jesse L. Martin (Smash), Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries), Candice Patton (The Game), and many more cast members already confirmed.

I really like it. Basically what I was expecting given the trend in Superhero attire in recent years, and especially because this does exist in the same universe as Arrow. Now I’d like to see what it looks like when he’s standing up. Because that can make a difference.
