‘Gotham’ Finds It’s Bruce Wayne & Selina Kyle

Batman: Earth One

Fox’s upcoming Gotham TV series, which will be developed by Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) and will focus on the origins of Batman and the universe he encompasses, has just cast two fresh faces to take on the roles of young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle.

Gotham - Bruce Wayne & Selina Kyle

David Mazouz, who recently starred alongside Kiefer Sutherland on the now cancelled Fox series Touch, will play Bruce Wayne years before the character first puts on the iconic cape and cowl. Camren Bicondova, who did a stretch on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew with the dance team 8 Flavahz, will play a young Selina Kyle before she becomes Catwoman. Since contesting on America’s Best Dance Crew she has appeared in the film Battlefield America.

David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne is described as “serious and soulful.” After his parents are tragically murdered he will greatly depend on the guidance of the Wayne family’s trusted friend/butler, Alfred Pennyworth, played by Sean Pertwee (Elementary). Camren Bicondova’s Selina Kyle is described as a “skilled pickpocket and street thief” and “pretty dangerous when cornered.”

Mazouz and Bicondova will be joining a cast that already includes Drew Powell (The Mentalist), Jada Pinkett Smith (Hawthorne), Donal Logue (Sons of Anarchy), Ben McKenzie (Southland), and more.
