USA TODAY has released an exclusive look at the cover for The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning. This is the third novel in the children’s fantasy series by New York Times Bestselling Author, Chris Colfer (Glee). The book is slated to be released later this year, on July 8.
The series follows the story of twins, Alex and Connor Bailey, who – literally – fall into a fairy tale world. The cover heavily features the twins fighting off guards. As usual, the frame surrounding the main picture features prominent characters to the story. There are several new characters to be seen, but Mother Goose and her goose Lester make an appearance. About the conclusion of the series, Colfer had this to say:
“I’m very happy with the fourth book (announced last fall for 2015) being the conclusion,” but I can’t say it will be the final story. I love these characters too much to completely abandon them.”
Colfer announced a book deal with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers last October. Details about this and his upcoming books can be found here.
