Just like two Iron Man movies wasn’t enough, clearly only two Thors just won’t cut it either. Thor 3 is in the works, and though there is no release date yet, the writers have been chosen.
Marvel Studios senior vice president Craig Kyle will be co-writing the screenplay with Christopher Yost (co-writer of Thor: The Dark World). Meanwhile, Marvel’s president, Kevin Feige, will produce, and he sounds excited about Kyle joining the writing team:
I am proud of Craig and have enjoyed working with him over these past years. His creative instincts have helped shape Thor and Thor: The Dark World at every level of the filmmaking process. The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure.
What will the movie be about? We don’t know, but considering what the ending of Dark World set up, I can think of who the main villain might be. What do you hope to see in the third one? Tell us in the comments!
The Dark World was a definite improvement on the first film. So lets hope that starts a trend. I’ll admit, of the Marvel Universe Films, Thor is probably my least favorite series. Mostly because he’s a harder character to relate to.
