Living legend Stan Lee, who has already cameoed in over a dozen Marvel movies, has confirmed that he will make a guest appearance on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Stan Lee told HollywoodReporter.com that he will have a “big role” in an episode to come. That episode will most likely air some time in February.

How big of a role could Stan Lee’s appearance actually be? As of right now it’s uncertain, but he could just mean it’s bigger than most of his Marvel movie cameos. Said cameos typically only last a few seconds and usually just play for laughs. In his most recent cameo in Thor: The Dark World, Stan Lee portrayed a patient in a mental hospital.
For all we know, Stan Lee may have a role in the upcoming episode that requires him to say more than one or two lines, and is actually pivotal to the episode’s plot. Most can recall Stan Lee’s speaking roles in movies like Mallrats and TV shows like Big Bang Theory, so rest assured a “big role” on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be a breeze for him.
