X-Men: Days of Future Past really loves its viral marketing. After the release earlier this year of a website for Trask Industries, a new site promoting the film has arrived: The Bent Bullet. Filled with hints and clues that some may consider spoilers (so I’ll keep the extra details to a minimum), the site reveals that in this alternate version of history Magneto was accused of killing JFK. Of course, there’s more than meets the eye, and the site practically gives away who the real culprit is (at least according to Magneto), but this is an interesting new plot point for the film.

There’s also a video explaining the conspiracy theory:

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released in theaters May 23, 2014. What do you think of the website and video? What are your theories? Let us know in the comments below!
