Arrested Development cast reuniting on Inside the Actors Studio

Warden Stefan Gentles will soon be reunited with the Bluth family: most of the cast of Arrested Development will appear on James Lipton’s Inside the Actors Studio. Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, and show creator Mitch Hurwitz will be guests on the show, discussing the beloved cult hit on November 7 at 8pm on Bravo.

Exciting as this is, don’t expect there to be any announcements made about the possible continuation of the show. According to Ron Howard, everyone involved wants to do more, and Hurwitz recently said he thinks a movie (premiering on Netflix) will precede a possible fifth season, but there are no concrete plans, no writing being done, and of course the busy schedules of the cast will likely slow down any production once things do get into gear. The future for the series is hopeful, but hope is all that’s being tossed around at the moment.
