It’s confirmed: a full 22-episode season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been ordered for ABC.
After the pilot episode had the highest-rated drama debut in four years, it’s no surprise, even though the ratings have dropped with the second and third episodes. But Marvel fans can rest easy for now; their show is out of danger for the season. For Joss Whedon fans, that’s almost unheard of.
