Elizabeth Olsen Cast as Scarlet Witch in Avengers 2?

Rumors have been flying around for months about Elizabeth Olsen being in talks to play the Scarlet Witch for The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Marvel still has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors, but Samuel L. Jackson just did.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Jackson said this about the film:

I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year.  I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. Olsen, but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.

Even though it’s not official official until Marvel says so, and they could always still deny this later, it sounds like there’s little doubt left about Olsen joining the cast.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron will be released in theaters May 1, 2015. What do you think about the casting? Let us know in the comments below!
