Neil Gaiman has a new book coming out, this time for children. Or, rather, for dads to share with their children. Fortunately, the Milk is about all the crazy adventures dads have to go through, such as buying milk. Gaiman explained in a letter his inspiration for writing this new book was to make up for the image of fathers as “oblivious, newspapers-reading occasionally carrot-eating lumps of distraction” he had created in The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish. A new book trailer has been released for Fortunately, the Milk, and can be watched at USA Today.
Fortunately, the Milk will fortunately be released September 17. What do you think? Will you buy Gaiman’s latest literary masterpiece when it comes out (come on, it’s adorable!)? Let us know in the comments!
