Official Sherlock Season 3 Teaser

The wait is almost over: Sherlock season 3 is somewhere just around the corner, and now we have video proof:

There’s only one thing that can really be said: mustache.

Well, all right, there’s more to talk about than that.  The footage from the teaser looks like it was filmed specifically for the promo, not actually taken from the series.  Even so, it’s made abundantly clear that Sherlock’s return, and the affect that has on everyone, John in particular, will be the primary focus of the first episode (or at least that the people behind the promo know that’s what everyone really wants to see).

We still don’t have a premiere date for Sherlock season 3 yet, but we know it’ll air sometime in the fall in the U.K., and in (hopefully early) 2014 in the U.S. on PBS.

In the mean time, we have the teaser to watch a million more times.  Excited to see Molly?  Curious if John will really sport that mustache in the new season, or if it’s just an inside joke for the teaser?  Let us know in the comments below.
