Sandman: Overture new artwork

Neil Gaiman and artist J.H. Williams III made a video message to be shown at Comic-Con, where they talk about the upcoming Sandman: Overture comics that will start publication this October. In the video, Gaiman talks about how “terrified” he is with so many people eagerly awaiting the new installment of Sandman, but that he is also hopeful that fans will enjoy it. He didn’t want to give things away about the story, but he said that it was something he had been dying to tell for years. He had always known what exactly had happened before the original Sandman started, such as where Dream came from and why he was tired enough for people to capture him. I suppose we can assume that we will learn the reasons for that in the new books. Check it out:
