The cult hit TV show Arrested Development was recently resurrected for a fourth season on Netflix, with the vague potential for someday maybe possibly having a movie to finish up the cliffhanger they left us with. But we might find out what happens to our favorite dysfunctional family, the Bluths, sooner than expected.
Netflix is currently in talks with showrunner Mitchell Hurwitz to create a fifth season of Arrested Development. Netflix’s co-chairman Brian Grazer said in the announcement, “We are in conversations with them to do another. They are interested in doing that.”
It’s too early to tell if this will amount to anything, but if everyone is willing–and scheduling around the actors’ other projects works out as well as it did during the filming of the fourth season–then we might just get another season. Fingers crossed!
