Marvel is keeping the details on the Phase Three films under wraps. Considering that Phase Three will be taking place after Avengers 2 in 2015, they have plenty of time to reveal what they’re working on. Ant-Man, and possibly Doctor Strange, will be in Marvel’s Phase Three film slots, but they have also recently announced the release date of two films without naming what those films are. Those two mystery films are set to premiere May 5, 2016 and May 5, 2017. But now a third release date has been added to the list: July 8, 2016. That means that they hope to continue releasing two films a year, as they have been able to do so far with Phase One and the currently-in-progress Phase Two.
Still no news on which films will be arriving on those dates; Ant-Man is due November 6, 2015, so it’s definitely not one of the mystery films. Maybe we’ll get more information at Comic-Con? We can only hope!
