Whedonites and Marvel fans rejoice! The upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been confirmed for San Diego Comic-Con 2013. The new show will have a panel dedicated to it, along with some undisclosed surprises revealed throughout the weekend. Joss Whedon, the co-creator and executive producer and lord of all geeks, will be in attendance along with Jeff Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television.
Marvel will of course also have a presentation of its upcoming films in Hall H, but it’s good to know that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will also be given plenty of promotion on its own. That means Marvel cares a lot about its small screen properties as well as its blockbuster movies. What can we expect from the panel? Will they possibly even do something as amazing as premiere the pilot episode (we can only dream)? Whatever they have in store, it will probably have people lining up as soon as they can to get into the panel. But that’s really just business as usual, now isn’t it.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres this fall on ABC, Tuesdays at 8 pm EST. What do you hope they’ll have at the panel? Tell us in the comments below!
