Did you ever wonder what happened to Peggy Carter after the events of Captain America? We’ll be finding out soon enough! Hayley Atwell, the actress who played Peggy, has revealed that Marvel will premiere a short featuring her character this July at San Diego Comic-Con International. Atwell described the project thusly:
Fans of the first film really wanted to find out what happened to Peggy afterwards, so Marvel are also making a short film, which is basically ‘What Peggy Did Next’, which will be shown at Comic-Con and be on the DVD extras of the second film.
Did you hear that? In case you can’t make it to Comic-Con, you’ll be able to catch the short film on the DVD extras for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which will be released in theaters April 4, 2014. Atwell, unfortunately, will only appear in the sequel in flashbacks according to reports, but at least we’ll get some closure through this short film as to what became of her character.
