By the god of thunder, we finally have a trailer! The sequel to the hit superhero/alien/god film Thor comes out later this year, and the first trailer has just been released. Thor: The Dark World reunites Thor with Jane Foster for otherworldly shenanigans that may or may not end in a human sacrifice. Sounds like fun, right? The trailer shows off a lot of cool stuff, but doesn’t go in depth so there’s only so much to pick at. We do get a glimpse of new villain Malekith, played by the Ninth Doctor himself, Christopher Eccleston. We also get a brief look at the return of Loki, the villain you wish were your boyfriend, and he looks like he just stepped off the cover of a romance novel. Or he’s really gotten into grunge rock. Eeekk looks awesome. Aw man, I’m going to have an infant by then and will thus have to find a babysitter. But I will have to find a babysitter, because I need to see this.
Maybe part of Loki’s punishment is that he doesn’t get to have a barber. Or any hair care regimen at all.
