The Avengers Dominate at MTV Movie Awards

The people have spoken. The Avengers took home three golden popcorns at the MTV Movie Awards, winning for Best Fight, Best Villain, and Best Movie. Tom Hiddleston accepted his award for Best Villain by opening with, “I am Loki of Asgard, and I’m burdened with glorious popcorn.” He then went on to gush about everyone involved and how amazing everyone is in his usual humble manner. Joss Whedon paid tribute in his speech to “the hundreds and hundreds of artists who worked for years, who gave up their lives to make this movie as good as it could be.”

Silver Linings Playbook also received a few awards, including the completely expected win for Jennifer Lawrence in Best Female Performance. Emma Watson, despite losing in that same category, still took home the MTV Trailblazer Award. You can check out the full list of winners below:
