New Poster for Star Trek Into Darkness Claiming “Earth Will Fall”

Star Trek Into Darkness Teaser Poster

Have you noticed a distinct lack of outer space in the latest trailers and teasers for Star Trek Into Darkness? Well, that theme continues with the newest poster for the film (new is relative, it is after all very similar to the last ones), featuring Benedict Cumberbatch’s John Harrison walking toward the camera and away from the burning ruins of London behind him (cool guys don’t look at explosions, after all). The poster, which you can see below, also contains the tagline “Earth will fall,” which furthers the focus on hitting Starfleet where they live that we’ve seen in other previews. But how far will the damage go? And seriously, what the heck is up with this Harrison guy? Luckily, we don’t have much longer to wait till we find out.

Star Trek Into Darkness will be released May 8 in the UK and May 17 in the US. What do you think of the new poster? Let us know in the comments below!
