Yet Another Star Trek Trailer

As we get closer and closer to the release date, the trailers just keep coming. A new Star Trek Into Darkness trailer has debuted, filled with some scenes that we’ve seen before, but also some new tidbits. In fact, I think this trailer definitively tells us that Cumberbatch is not Khan. Apparently he’s a top agent of…something? Do they have MI6 in the future?

As you can see, there is also a completely unnecessary and irksome-to-me scene showing off Carol Marcus in her underwear, but if you look closely there’s a url hidden in that shot. That url leads to a new poster (below) that features Kirk, Spock, and Uhura looking bad ass in the background while Cumberbatch’s John Harrison walks menacingly toward the camera. I do like that they’re giving Uhura a prominent part in this series of movies, because otherwise I fear there would be no strong female presence in the films at all, but I’ve got to ask: where the heck is Bones?
