Supernatural News And A Sneak Peek

Supernatural executive producer Robert Singer recently did a Q&A where he answered questions about what to expect in the second half of the season. Of particular interest is how the latest episode, “As Time Goes By,” will affect the show’s mythology and the boys’ lives. Some of the highlights include:

• Sam and Dean will be using the Men of Letters hideout as a home base
• The Men of Letters storyline will play into the tablet story arc
• Castiel, Benny, and Kevin are definitely coming back; Amelia may return
• Castiel is “a confused angel right now”
• No more tablets will be introduced this year
• We can count on a big emotional talk between the boys, about something that will happen “starting next week, [and] that thing will carry through to the end of the year.”

Still no news on a renewal for season nine, but Singer thinks that the network is happy with the ratings so far. It looks like the odds are goods that the Winchesters will be back for more adventures, but nothing official has been announced, so don’t celebrate too soon. You can read the full interview here.
