At 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 7, be sure to have your computer and dwarven gold at the ready because advanced tickets for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey go on sale. It’s only a little more than a month away from the film’s debut on December 14, so tickets will probably go fast and before you know it we’ll be dusting off our swords and wizard hats to wait in line.
But if that’s not enough, at the same time that tickets for The Hobbit go on sale, you’ll also be able to buy tickets for a marathon run of the extended editions of the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy. The trilogy will be screened in theaters on Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9 with the films being shown back to back to back. At a total run time around twelve hours, you might want to opt out of the 64 oz soda at concessions.

This is crazy, tickets nearly a month in advance! Is this just for opening day or for any times?
