Young Storytellers Foundations ‘The Biggest Show’ – 20th October, 2012

The Young Storytellers Foundation is a non-profit that believes that one of the best ways to develop literacy is to encourage students to tell stories. Using group exercises and one-on-one mentoring sessions, students develop their own short stories that are then acted out in front of their peers by volunteers in what is called by the students A “Big Show’.

Last night was YSF’s ‘The Biggest Show” – a charity event where four students had their stories acted out by actors from Glee (Darren Criss, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, Dot Marie Jones, and Max Adler), That’s So Raven (Juliette Goglia), Baby Daddy (Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Chelsea Kane, and Derek Theler), and Sonny With A Chance (Brandon Mychal Smith). With stories about Stevie Wonder stealing songs from The Beatles, or two girls trying to sneak their way into a One Direction Concert, it was a night of hilarity and fun. Take a peek below at some photos from the event or watch videos of the skits themselves on our YouTube Channel. And don’t forget to donate to YSF.
