For Mumford & Sons fans the long wait for the band’s second album is almost over. The first track from Babel, “I Will Wait,” has been released on the band’s official YouTube channel. The song has already had airplay in both the U.S. and the U.K. premiering on Zane Lowe’s BBC1 radio show yesterday (Aug 7). The track is indicative of the band’s bluegrassy roots and picks up right where their twice platinum breakout album Sigh No More left off.
Babel is slated to be released on September 24. It includes twelve new tracks some of which the band has already been preforming live while on tour. Babel is available for pre-order from the band’s website.
