  • S2 PosterOne month away and promotion for Game of Thrones much anticipated second season is ramping up. Take a look at the beautiful new promotional photo to the right.
  • Speaking of Game of Thrones, Access Hollywood have an interview with one of the new cast, Tom Wlaschiha, who plays Jagen H’ghar.
  • BBC America have a Behind The Scenes video called “The Fall of George” about the state of George’s character in the premiere of Being Human’s (UK) 4th Series (remember, the US is 4 weeks behind now).
  • SFX have an interview with Craig Roberts, who plays Adam on Being Human (UK).
  • In a mind boggling move, CBS pilot Elementary has cast its Watson – Lucy Liu. Yes, not only is he becoming a she in their interpretation, but Watson will also not be a war vet, and will be a failed Doctor. Because they may be trying to shake things up, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to do a story about female empowerment. No sir. From The Hollywood Reporter.
  • Simon Pegg has joined the Clone Wars cartoon as the voice of Dengar, one of the bounty hunters featured in The Empire Strikes Back. Don’t worry folks, this doesn’t mean he has turned to the Dark Side and is now a prequel fan. He assured us he still thinks The Phantom Menace sucks via his Twitter feed yesterday.
  • The Titanic miniseries from Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey creator & writer) will be premiering with a Q&A at MIPTV in Cannes on April 1st. From The Hollywood Reporter. And according to The Guardian the series will be “Downton-on-sea.”
  • BBC America is producing two new original programs with UK Indie Clerkenwell films. Both sound like a lot of fun, and we can’t wait for them to hit our screens. From the Press release: Wired takes place in a world that looks exactly like today, except for one thing: this is a world with ‘Syns’ (‘Synthetic Organisms’), exact replicas of human beings and the newest luxury accessory money can buy. Wired explores our evolving relationship with technology, the boundaries of society’s values and moralities, our hypocrisies and contradictions – holding up a mirror to who we are today and what we might become. In The Dead Beat, two cops, one dead and one alive, become a reluctant team, working from leads in the world of the dead to track down killers in the world of the living. Subverting the crime genre, The Dead Beat brings a whole new meaning to cold cases, underworld informants, dead leads and buried evidence.
  • Spock himself, Leonard Nemoy is set to make an appearance on The Big Bang Theory. From SFX.
  • It’s confirmed. Alan Ball will be leaving True Blood as Show Runner for the next season. From SFX.
  • Steven Moffat talks to the Radio Times about Sherlock, and new villains that will come to the show after Moriarty’s demise.
  • AMC has a new Horror Sci-Fi show on it’s books. 99 Stories is apparently about a group of people stuck in a building that decides who lives or dies, and who moves up a floor. Sounds a little strange, we know, but with the care AMC puts into its series, we’re optimistic they can make it work. And with one of the creators of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at the helm, we’re just a tad excited. From Blastr.
