  • Winners of this year’s Drama Desk Awards include War Horse (outstanding play and a special award for thrilling stagecraft) and Brian Bedford (outstanding featured actor).
  • The 2011 London cast recording of The Wizard of Oz will be released in the States on June 28.  (Of course, it is already available digitally.) (Thanks, Playbill.)
  • Speaking of digital releases, the Broadway cast recording of The Book of Mormon is the fastest-selling cast album in iTunes history (courtesy Playbill) and a single from Spider-Man, performed by Reeve Carney and featuring Bono and The Edge, is now available (Playbill once again).
  • Tim Curry has withdrawn from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Chichester with a planned London transfer) due to illness, reports What’s on Stage.
