New Trailer Released for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In… Hollywood’

Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate

Sony Pictures has unveiled the second full trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film Once Upon A Time In… Hollywood in time for its premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Written and Directed by Tarantino, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Margaret Qualley, and the late Luke Perry.

The story follows struggling actor Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) in late 1960s Hollywood during the wake of cult leader Charles Manson and the Manson family murders. Hollywood‘s star-studded cast portray real-life figures around during this time including Damon Herriman as Charles Manson, Mike Moh as Bruce Lee, and Robbie portraying Sharon Tate, the 1960s actress and wife of director Roman Polanski tragically murdered in 1969 by the Manson family.

Hollywood seems to be tackling some heavy subject matter, but is also billed as a black comedy comparable with Tarantino’s earlier work like Pulp Fiction, telling multiple stories through multiple characters converging in the film’s conclusion. Hollywood is currently receiving mostly positive reviews from critics following its Cannes premiere.
