SDCC 2018: First Trailer Released for DC’s ‘Titans’

Titans is the first live-action series to be available on the upcoming DC Universe streaming service. Produced by Greg Berlanti (Arrow) and Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery), Titans will see the rise of a young team of DC superheroes including Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), Starfire (Anna Diop), and the duo Hawk (Alan Ritchson) & Dove (Minka Kelly). With San Diego Comic Con occurring this weekend, DC Entertainment has taken the opportunity and dropped a brand new, first trailer for the upcoming series.

As the trailer kicks off with a TV-MA warning fans immediately discover that Titans will not be something safe for children to watch. Featuring a dark tone, violent action, and some harsh language from the boy wonder himself, Titans separates itself from producer Greg Berlanti’s CW Arrowverse series. For something more kid-friendly, go check out Teen Titans GO! To The Movies later this month.

In addition to Titans, the upcoming DC Universe streaming service will feature access to other new series, including Swamp Thing and an animated Harley Quinn series, as well as other DC/Warner Bros. properties. It is currently available for pre-order at DCUniverse.com. The service will cost $74.99 annually or $7.99 a month.
